Upcoming Programs & Events

Immersive recreational and therapeutic programs held outdoors and indoors at partnering locations throughout central CT.

Get yourself or your loved one involved in growing!

Being involved in garden activities motivates and connects individuals. Gardening, working with plants, and being in nature has been shown to lower anxiety levels, increase attentiveness and memory, reduce stress and improve mood, spark creativity, and improve physical health and strength. There are many skills that can be honed in the supportive accessible spaces we partner with. Our programs also emphasize positive social interaction, engagement, and inclusion, promoting a sense of community.

Enjoy the many benefits of connecting to plants and nature, adapted to each person where they are.

Bloom Where Planted’s programs involve hands on activities working directly with plants, flowers, herbs, and soil. Participants spend time outdoors or indoors sitting with peers around a table and learning about and connecting to nature and growing with the plants around them. Participants are ensured they are able to participate to the best of their ability and interest through adaptive tools, activities, and instructions.
